Apprecier™ (APPS)

"Apprecier^™" is the trade name of our brand-new  pro-vitamin C, characterized by its strong and immediate penetration into the skin. "APPS" is another name of "Apprecier^™" which stands for the chemical name of L-Ascorbyl 2-Phosphate 6-Palmitate Sodium.

Apprecier^™(APPS) is unique as it has an amphiphilic chemical form, which contribute to the penetration through cell membrane without any loss of solubility. Apprecier^™(APPS) is the only amphiphilic vitamin C derivative available worldwide and attributes, therefore, a new potential of vitamin C to skin care. Apprecier^™(APPS) is successfully used in a large variety of formulations and strongly appreciated by the skincare industry.

The delivery performance of vitamin C into human epidermal keratinocyte was compared among Apprecier^™(APPS), L-Ascorbyl 2-Phosphate sodium (APS) and Ascorbic acid 2-glucoside in the same condition (in vitro experiment). Apprecier^™(APPS) showed the highest intracellular vitamin C as you see in figure 1.
