History

1971 Imported highly fluidized chemical admixture (Mol Master) and began to sell it.
1973 Developed the first premixed mortar (High-Mol) in the world and began to manufacture and sell it. Began to manufacture and sell mortar adhesion enhancer (High-Mol Emulsion).
1977 Established Showa Denko Kenzai K.K. with 100% capital invested by Showa Denko K.K.
1981 Began to manufacture and sell fire resistive dual pipes (Keipla Pipes).
1985 Shifted the control of manufacturing Keipla Pipes to Kanose Denko K.K. (today's Niigata Showa K.K.).
2009 Relocated the head office from Hamamatsu-cho, Minato-ku, Tokyo to Ebisu-cho, Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa
2012 Began to manufacture and sell "SHOWA (((Shaon))) FDP"
Sound insulation is called “Shaon” in Japanese.
2015 Completed a new mortar plant in Ishioka Plant.
