Security Trade Control (Security Export Control)

Basic ideas and policies

Resonac's corporate philosophy is to develop functions that meet today's needs as a leading company in advanced materials, while also contributing to sustainable development in a global society.
In line with this philosophy and our continued commitment to promoting international peace and security, we have established internal regulations for international trade to ensure compliance with export control laws and regulations that apply to our group. We will not engage in transactions that conflict with these principles.

Security trade control organization

In accordance with the security export control regulations, the representative director has been designated as the chief security trade control (STC) officer, and the export control department has been established under their supervision.
Each group company has also established a similar organization and conducts export control according to their regulations and local laws, which is in line with Resonac security export control regulation.

Export control initiatives

To ensure effective export control, we conduct appropriate product/technologies classifications and thorough transaction screening checks to verify that there are no concerns regarding our customers and the intended end-use of our export transactions.
Furthermore, we share export control information throughout the group, and check and improve the control level through periodic education and audits.

Objectives of export control

The entire Resonac Group will strengthen its understanding of conducting export controls in accordance with the regulations that align with Resonac’s export control policies, ensuring full compliance with all applicable export control laws and regulations.
Additionally, we will confirm the level of understanding across the group and work for continuous improvement.
