To realize our purpose and create and deliver new value to society, we are engaging in dialogue and co-creation with a wide range of stakeholders. By promoting activities from an inclusive perspective and reflecting constructive dialogue in our management, we aim to achieve further growth as a co-creative chemical company.

The Resonac Group regards IR activities as those that help shareholders and investors deepen their understanding of the Group’s corporate management, business activities and strategies, so that they can evaluate the Group’s corporate value in a fair manner. Based on this idea, we are committed to:

Sustainability Meeting

At Resonac, we communicate our sustainability initiatives aimed at enhancing corporate value to our valued stakeholders, including investors, through our annual Sustainability Briefing. These briefings feature dialogues among management members and external directors, fostering meaningful engagement, dialogue, and co-creation. We also proactively conduct one-on-one meetings with shareholders and investors both in Japan and overseas, through which we receive valuable feedback on progress in financial and non-financial KPIs. This input is carefully reflected in our management and decision-making processes.

We engage in sincere dialogue with the residents of the communities where we operate to deepen mutual understanding. By leveraging our 'Power of Chemistry,' we collaborate to address issues that contribute to the sustainable development of the local society. Additionally, we strive to earn the trust of the local community and government in the safe and stable operations of our group.

Participation in the Ministry of the Environment’s “Decarbonization × Reconstruction Town Development Platform”(in Japanese only)

In the 12 municipalities of Fukushima Prefecture affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, we are participating in a long-term partnership aimed at achieving both decarbonization and reconstruction. We have three production and logistics bases in Fukushima Prefecture. As such, we will continue to contribute to the reconstruction of disaster-stricken areas, such as by participating in the exchange of information and the establishment of networks to realize the decarbonization and reconstruction of these communities, as well as participating in individual themes that we can contribute to.

Solving societal and customer challenges through Resonac-style co-creation.

Our company promotes a “Problem-solving Marketing Process,” in which we combine multiple products and technologies to deliver proposals that competitors cannot replicate, earning recognition for their value and creating high value-added businesses. Two emblematic examples of this co-creation approach are the Packaging Solution Center and the Power Module Integration Center.

with Business partners

We are committed not only to earning the trust of our suppliers but also to working together toward a sustainable society. Through collaborative efforts, we aim to address environmental and social challenges across the entire supply chain while enhancing corporate value for both parties. Resonac has established and published the Sustainable Procurement Guidelines, declaring our own commitment and requesting suppliers’ endorsement and active participation. We utilize the GCNJ CSR Self-Assessment Tool and conduct surveys with approximately 1,300 target suppliers on a three-year cycle. In addition, we regularly carry out CSR visits to maintain close communication with suppliers.

We aim to create a corporate culture where employees can work healthily and energetically, feeling a sense of purpose and pride in their work. In order to foster a sense of unity among group employees, we are implementing various initiatives.

REBLUC(Resonac Blue Creators)

We are building an internal community called REBLUC (Resonac Blue Creators) that practices and spreads specific actions to "Change society through the power of chemistry," which is our company's purpose. At REBLUC, members with diverse backgrounds engage in continuous dialogue to proactively reconsider and refine the purposes they want to achieve. Additionally, they work on collaboration that involves proposing new business ideas and improvement activities across departments, while also promoting co-creation activities with external partners beyond the boundaries of the company.

with Next generation and Students

We believe that communication with students, who will lead the next generation, is also important. Therefore, we are implementing various initiatives aimed at creating new value. Additionally, we will increase opportunities for our employees and management to embrace the broad perspectives that students bring and to consider the future vision of our company.

First participation in the inquiry-based learning program for junior and senior high school students,  “Quest Education.”  (in Japabese only)

Resonac has joined “Quest Education,” an inquiry-based learning program developed and provided by Educa and Quest Inc. for junior and senior high school students. “Quest Education” is designed to encourage students to take an active role in learning by exploring real-world themes. As part of this initiative, Resonac is participating in “Corporate Access,” one of the program’s main components. Over the course of approximately one year, students will experience the equivalent of a 24-session internship in the classroom, tackling challenges presented by Resonac while learning about the meaning of work and economic activities. The program aims to empower students to shape the future with their own hands and gain transformative learning experiences that change how they view themselves and the world. Through this initiative, Resonac seeks to foster creativity in the next generation while enhancing learning opportunities for our employees, accelerating innovation, and contributing to solving social issues.
