They are in hard disk drives used for high-capacity storage. Hard disks (HDs) are in high demand in Data Center business, where ultra-high data capacity is required.

- Increase in the number of substrates in the drive by ultra-smooth and highly-rigid thin substrate using our original polishing technology, aluminum alloy design, and fabrication technology.
- To achieve further improvement to adopt high-capacity technology, development is ongoing which is for Heat Assisted Magnetic Recording (HAMR).
- Two manufacturing bases are available for supply; Japan(Ichihara) and Singapore.
