TABLE FOR TWO is a nonprofit organization that addresses global food imbalances by providing school meals to children in developing countries in Africa and Asia. In support of this mission, Resonac launched the walking challenge under which JPY 20—the cost of one school meal—is donated for every 100,000 steps recorded by each participating employee during the event period. As a result of the collective efforts of its employees, Resonac donated JPY 339,520—the equivalent of 16,976 school meals.

This walking challenge is a recurring initiative aimed at encouraging healthy lifestyle habits and enhancing communication among employees. In its third iteration, held from November 2025 to January 2026, the event saw participation from 4,475 employees in Japan. Members of senior management, including President and CEO Takahashi, also took part, making it an opportunity for the entire company to engage in health promotion. In addition to individual participation, team-based challenges were introduced, fostering interaction among employees and creating opportunities for communication across departments and locations.

Resonac will continue to promote health and productivity management by placing the physical and mental well-being of each employee at the foundation of its concept of “Happiness,” while incorporating initiatives that encourage proactive participation.
